Election Commission of India urged Voters carry valid identification while heading to polling stations to exercise their franchise. As per guidelines, individuals can present their EPIC (Elector’s Photo Identity Card) or any of the 12 alternative approved documents to verify their identity.
Authorities emphasized that producing one of these documents is mandatory to cast a vote smoothly and avoid any inconvenience at polling booths.
